Worry: Comparing Yourself to Others

Have you ever compared yourself to someone else? Odds are, you have. In fact, odds are, everyone has.


While you're over here comparing yourself to that woman at the gym (maybe her abs are toned) that same woman is probably comparing herself to you, maybe wishing she had your hair, or legs, or height, etc.


In fact, here I am worrying if my blog is good enough. If it's as intriguing as another blog or if I should even have a blog at all.


The thing is, I love writing. I love blogging and there's always going to be someone out there with a bigger and better blog, but that's not going to stop me from doing something I am so passionate about. If we let our worry dictate how to live our lives, we aren't going to be as fulfilled.


Try it:

Whether you're at home or in public I'd like you to try something. Anytime you find yourself comparing yourself to someone else or your work to someone else's, tell yourself 'it doesn't matter, I am exactly how I should be right now' or 'it doesn't matter, my work is exactly how it should be right now.'
